Carolyn Carras

Carolyn Carras brings more than 15 years of experience in real estate accounting to her role as Controller for Tri-Land Properties. Most recently, Ms. Carras was the Assistant Vice President/Controller for Duke Realty, a position into which she was promoted after holding several other progressively responsible roles during her eight years with Duke. During her tenure at Duke, Carolyn gained significant expertise in financial reporting, property and development accounting, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and reconciliations. In addition, she has been responsible for TIF districts in different municipalities, recorded respective receivables, collected funds and has a positive record of hiring, training and maintaining members on her team.

Before joining Duke, Carolyn spent six years with Prime Group Realty Trust, first as a Senior Accountant and later as an Assistant Controller. She began her real estate career with The John Buck Company where she spent ten years in various roles.

Ms. Carras has a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from Northern Illinois University.
